New Book

I got my new Ann Budd book yesterday. My oldest daughter, Kari sent it to me for my birthday, even though my birthday isn't until August. I love early presents! It's Getting Started Knitting Socks. While Kelli has taught me so much about socks and I know some of what is in the book, I am learning new information too, like splicing yarn! There are some beautiful cable and lace patterns in the book that I can't wait to try. I have already picked out a pattern for socks for Gary and a pattern for me when Kelli finishes my spinning my new yarn. Still working on my blue striped socks. Garage sale is tomorrow, so hopefully I can get the last sock finished quickly after tomorrow. Then I can start on Gary's socks with a new pattern!
